makeup tips for winter 2012

Hey girlys! first I just want to send my prayers and thoughts out to all of the children and teachers that lost their precious lives this weekend. So so sad, I couldnt even image. So just a little prayer to them..

On a lighter note, I was some Winter makeup tips for everything from christmas partys - work partys - family gatherings - church - new years etc!

-BOLD BROWS!
Confidence is sexy right? Well what says confidence for than bold eye brows?! You may not like it, but trust me almost every girls looks hot with their eye brows colored in perfectly!

-ROSEY CHEEKS!
Its winter, not need to be "natural" anymore.. add a little blush to those cheekbones and out the door you go. Its quick, cute and can make any face look replenished and refreshed.

-RED LIPS!
I know it seems as if the red lips are a fall type of thing but they really are a classy essential when trying to look like a sofisticated women! Be powerful, and definitly be bold.

-WING YOUR EYELINER!
This can sometimes look trashy or cute, depending on how much you wing it. Just try for a little clipped wing at the end, not a long to-your-eyebrow wing! The less the best!

-PURPLE LIPS!
I know, I know.. sounds a little odd. Im not trying to make you look like barney but a deep violet lip looks great on anyone, especially brunettes! Try it, you might like it.

-TURQUOISE LINER!
Blondes.. this is for you laddys! Especially if you have green eyes. The blue makes them pop and become VERY noticable!

-SMOKEY EYES!
anything from browns scales to black scales.. smokeys are a go-to for this season! Try them out you might like them! Check out my tutorials on how to do smokey eyes as well!

I hope you enjoy and take these tips into consideration when getting ready for your next event! LOVE YOU ALL!!! XoXo CeCe Marie! <3

HAPPY HOLIDAYS ALSO :)

Hey ladies! So for the past couple of weeks I have been wearing VERY little makeup to try to clear my face up completely to do a face wash review and I also decided to review a face mask as well for you. So I started by not wearing any foundations and only face powder and blush, after I cleared my face I tried the Clearasil Daily clear oil free wash. It was about 5 dollars and I got it at Walgreens. The first couple of days, I was washing my face 2 times a day, and the face wash started to dry out my skin, than It clicked to me, it’s an oil-free face wash.. Meaning its taking out the oils NOT made with oils. Haha, so after that dilemma I stopped washing 2 times a day and only washed before I went to bed instead. After a couple of weeks I started to see a difference in the way my face felt. It was more soft but the little acne spots were not going away (mind you I don’t have that big of a deal with acne as it is) and I did notice that I was be gaining to break out on the side of my face and on my forehead. So I tried to wash more in depth and it still was not going away, than my mom picked up a green tea face wash from Wal-mart for like $2 and asked me to try it out for her (she didn’t want to do it first.. ). So that I did! I put the mask on and took it off after liked 3 or 4 minutes and my face was EXTREMELY soft, like a baby’s bottom soft! …….I woke up the next morning with 2 brand new pimples and a rash of acne on the side of my face! So I HIGHLY recommends that you do not use these washes if you have clear skin or skin that doesn’t really break out. I noticed that with natural made masks my skin doesn’t react as much as regular company made masks, so I really hope that if you have beautiful skin don’t destroy it with the companies masks, and make homemade ones, and if you do have acne than use the company and or natural masks to clear it up than continue on with natural masks. So that’s my little dilemma I have had. For the wash, I wouldn’t typically pick something that right off the shelf like that but I saw a review online and decided to try it out for myself and come to find out my skin is different. Maybe its just me or maybe it’s the wash but I wouldn’t give either of them a good review, just because of the dramatic change I saw from clear skin to irritated skin! Now I see why they say, “Never try to fit into anyone else’s skin.. it’s always different” haha. Love you all! -XOXO CeCe Marie!

Hey ladies, so while I was cleaning my brushes lately I wanted to help remind you guys how to do is correctly and kind of on the money saving side too! It’s fairly simple to do and doesn’t require a lot of time or effort but it’s no where near as effective as deep cleaning. When it comes to cleaning there are brush cleaners out there but they seriously disgusting. THe basic ingrediant is seriously ALCOHOL! (no, ladies.. were not tipping wine glasses and washing our brushes) ;) But dont get me wrong, there are very good cleaneers out there like M.A.C cosmetics Brush Cleaner and BeautyPro Brush Cleaner! For cleaning your brushes I really suggest you do it after EVERY use., even if youre in a rush like me, try to do it before every use at least! Specifically for cream, liquid and gel products or if you are switching up colours! You only have to clean there at least once a week for like blushes, powders etc. Eyeshadow brushes should be cleaned after every use though! To do it, spray (i put this in a travel sized like spray bottle, like those hairspray ones) and i just spray it on the bristles, than wipe them back and forth until the color dissapears. remember that this is just a spot clean and not a super intense cleaning, dont expect this to substitute for your intense cleaning habits! Love you all! Xoxo- CeCe Marie <3

This weekend I did a little shopping for myself last night and picked up a few cute little makeup products that I am so-so about! First item I grabbed was a victorias secret press powder medium 20! (i had a $10 coupon) and I tested it out this morning before I left to go out and about and I must say it is pretty light weight, it sticks to my skin fairly.. a little messy but you dont get the amount that you pay for it ($24) but its a nice little "in your makeup bag" item, i never really get a kick out of victorias secret makeup... even their eyeshadows are super messy and obnoxious at times but I really like this press powder a lot! The other item I picked up was the bare minerals blemish therapy.. I havent tried it out yet because Im currently testing out a face product for a review for you all.. but If anyone has this or had it will they please let me know how it works? I look forward to using it but If you have any reviews let me know because I payed a little on the expensive side for it! Thank you! <3 Love you all, xoxo CeCe Marie! <3

If you have a smart phone and youre looking for some good beauty apps! Heres 2 I found on my iPhone that I absolutely adore! They are just basic apps that I rely on when shopping or comparing makeup when Im shopping! So helpful for the mommies out there Christmas shopping too ;)! The first app is "Beautylish" for this app it does require an account which is supper quick to make! It is almost like a pinterest for nails, hair, makeup etc! It also shows videos on how to do them too! So if you see any you like, let me know and ill do a tut! It keeps you up to date on beauty trends too! SO COOL!!! Just a nice little "go to" when youre up and bored and looking for something to do! The next app is "Makeup Alley" and you type in a product, the brand and the category and it searches for it and then gives you reviews on all the products, from drug stores to top shelf stuff! You can also click on your skin tone, type and age range and it will give you all the ratings for if the product is good for your skin or not!! Check them out and tell me what you think about them or if you try any of them! Love you all! CeCe Marie!! ♥

This week the spotlight is on the teenagers! Ive noticed from just going out to places that alot of the younger generation doesn't know how to properly take care of their skin because they rely on labels such as "moisturizing" "vitamins whatever whatever" or the typical "recommended by some huge hot shot doctor or Hollywood star" But i wanted to show you all a way that you could take care of your baby skin and look good while youre doing it! Sometimes you dont have to cake foundation on and wing your eyeliner every single day, now a days, the more natural and less kE$HA the better, not only for you but your skin too! Youre young so take care of your skin because I know I miss my baby skin! ;) 1. SKIP THE FOUNDATION!! (especially i you have bad acne!) instead of slicking th foundation on to look "better" use concealer to cover blemishes and whatever marks you dont want than follow up with a powder and or use a tinted moisterizer! 2. CONCEALER: never ever never rub the concealer in! always pat pat pat! it looks and blends better! 3. LIPS OR EYES- CHOOSE ONE! dont try for the full face make over, (unless youre a cheerleader getting ready to compete!) if youre heavy on the eye makeup (which is fine, some girls look good in it) than keep a nude lipe or a clear lip gloss and if youre heavy on the lips, keep a light eye, and not so much of a heavy line! it balances out and makes you look better! 4. CALM DOWN LADY GAGA! Youre young and beautiful, embrace that! If you have on foundation, powder, blush, liner, mascara, eyeshadow, lip liner and gloss... youre over doing it. A typical every day look is a "natural one". If youre going out than be my guest and make yourself look smoking! but if youre just going to school, tone it down! Seriously, some girls do not understand that they just need a good mascara, little blush, concealer and gloss for a nice look every day! SAve yourself some sleep too ;) 5. VASELINE IS YOUR BESTFRIEND - continue using this, especially this season! if youre having chapped lips, take a little sugar, warm water and a toothbrush and massage your lips, than apply a coat of vaseline for kissable lips ;) 6. GET THE WALLET OUT (sorry mommas!) - spend money on key products that will help your skin in the end - like concealer and foundation, these are better made for your skin, and will keep you looking good too! Buy the cheap mascara and eye makeup, those look the same as other generic products! But always test your products, Sephora really offers this option! 7. WHEN CAN YOU SKIP SUNSCREEN -NEVER! apply this everyday! Wanna look good in your 40s, 50s, or 60s.. DING DING heres your secret! 8. ROUND TIPS OR SQUARED FOR YOUR NAILS? - never let our nails go! Always keep them clean, clipped, and painted! 9. WATER LINE- you dont always have to line the water line, if youre going for a natural look, keep the the water line clear and just apply mascara! 10. OILY HAIR? iIf youre a blonde, sprinkle baby powder in your roots and your head will soak them up, if youre brown than buy a dry shampoo for your hair! 11. SHAVING LEGS- save it for the end of the shower! To avoid niks and cuts! 12. SCRUBS- your scrubs are just like the sunscreen, theyre good for everything, face, elbows, feet whatever! So why not use them!? 13. BEAUTY- ALWAYS REMEMBER ITS WHAT CANT BE COVERED WITH MAKEUP, POLISH AND HAIR COLOR.. AND THATS INTERNAL BEAUTY.. Let that shine! MUAH! <3 Love CeCe Marie!

Birthday makeup and OOTD

Lets not look like Rudolph this winter! ;)

Hey beauties! Now that the fall weather is out and the winter wind is in! Here's some great tips to protect and keep your skin in tip top shape for the spring break right around the corner! Tip #1: Drink water regularly throughout the day. When being outside, the wind will be hitting your skin like a baseball bat, it will be drying out your skin making it chapped! To keep it radiant provide your body with natural products, like water! #2
Give your skin steam treatments and steam baths. After the steam treatment, lock in moisture with a deeply replenishing cream, BB cream, lotion or gel. Try to shy away from the scented lotions, cute little bottles lotions, etc. those have perfumes in them that can clog up your pores and make you breakout! #3
Don’t squint in the glare of snow and ice. Wear sunglasses when necessary.
Protect your skin around eyes just as if youre applying eyeliner on your water line, squinting is just as bad as pulling on your eyes! with a richer, cell replenishing formula in winter.
#3 ALWAYS Protect your sensitive lips with lip balm or gel. Chapter lips don't make the chap happy! ;)
#4 don’t forget to moisturize the hands, ears, nose, and neck. Before you expose your skin outside!
Protect your skin with gloves, scarves, hats and mufflers when you go outside.#5 during those night when you're just relaxing inside doing nothing, throw a mask or scrub on your face to replenish any damaged skin you may have ruined on accident! Remember skin aging has absolutely nothing to do with age, it's just how you manage it! And last but not least #6 ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS use sunscreen! If you can not manage to keep up with the previous 5 tips, this one is the absolutely the MOST important one I can stress! So keep your beautiful faces flawless during this weekend! With love, CeCe Marie! <3

What's hot and what's NOT!

So recently I went through my makeup to pitch and sort out all of my stuff (too forever!!) and I found a few items that I didn't remember buying so I decided to give them a little review and rate, so for all you ladies that are getting ready to go to the store to refill on makeup... Check this out! The first lucky item I found was FERITY EYE SHIMMER: the color is "12 sun bronze" it's like a sandy tanish color! Super pretty! Unfortunately it's really loose and the shimmer goes EVERYWHERE every time I open it! It does look gorgeous on but sometime it s a mess putting on because its so loose so you have to reapply and touch up your face makeup after! I think I paid about $1.99 for it! I would give it about a 2 and a half! The next item is REVLON CUSTOM EYES SWEET INNOCENCE: I must have just picked this up because it came out a little while ago.. The shade is "010" it has 5 shades (smokey brown, tan peach, cream, deep violet, and peach) the colors blend really good together except the pigments don't apply very well so you have to use a lot :( I paid about $5.99 for it and it doesn't last very long, it's also very chalky! I'd give it about a 2! The next shadow is one that I picked up from Ulta (LOVE LOVE LOVE that store!!) it's called "NYX ES18 Sahara" I would definitely give this about a 4 and a half stars! It's a light golden champagne color and looks beautiful with hazel eyes! Good ideal color for the brown one and perfect for people who want shiny but not too shiny. It's really close to MAC Naked Lunch and its one of those items that are good to "just have in your makeup bag"! I paid about 5.99 for it (what a deal!) next up I have VICTORIA'S SECRET "sweet pot" flavored lip gloss! This is soooooo not worth the price! I paid $9 for this! It's way to think and literally only last about 20 minutes before a reapplication! I found this alot with a majority of VS products, even the primer and tinted moisturizer wasn't that good! Although I must say, it smells AMAZZINGGGG! Hehe ;) the last thing I found was MARY KAY LOOSE EYE POWDER PINK ORGANZA... I hate it. It's had a super cute Packaging but is soooo not worth the $14 I paid for it.. It's loose, the quality isn't opaque enough.. I couldn't match it with my skin tone! It reminds me of a little girls dress up makeup.. It's one of those product that you wouldn't mind giving away! Ladies.. If you want to look like a fairy princess.. This is definitely your product! :) so next time you plan on shopping, make sure you check up on the review! And if you want to know more about a product before you buy, let me know and I will do a review for you! Xoxo, love you all! -CeCe Marie! <3

Hey everyone!! My friend and I were recently at the mall looking around and I was the cutest scarf ever! The price was ridiculous though! My friend was explaining how she knew a girl who made her own scarfs and sold them for like $5 or so, but what was really cool was the fact that she made them out of old t shirts! yes!! old t shirts! So i googled it and looked around and theyre actually not that bad and simple to make too! all you need is an old tshirt,a sissors and 10 minutes! So first you take the shirt, lay it out, and cut it right below the arm pits straight across, than you cut (from the bottom of the tshirt) about and 1-1.5 inch pieces up about halfway up the shirt! After, you take each piece and flaring the pieces out by taking the top and pulling and holding all the way down to the bottom (some people even braid 3 of them together- cute too!) and taaa-daa you have a new cute scarf of your choice for the upcoming season!

Glamourously Awesome

Loreal BB Cream Vs Loreal BB Cream??

L’Oreal BB Cream Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream comes in four different shades; Fair, Light, Medium, and Deep. I paid about 8 bucks for this one. It comes out a grey color and then ends matching your skin tone. It reminds me of Estee Lauder Sheer tint release lotion (which is amazing). However the payoff is different. I wore it on its own for about a week. It's not the best but it's not the worst bb cream I've tried. You guys know I love my bb creams. I think I favor bb creams as of lately because I need something that doesn't take long to blend... I need to be out the door. This BB Cream states that it "delivers multiple beautifying actions; hydrates, corrects evens and perfects. Now most of you know that I have pretty good skin to begin with, so for someone like me yes all these things kind of hold true. I just think of it more as a tinted moisturizer than a bb cream. I also think it could be used as a primer. I'd say save your money on this one. I think that there are other bb creams out there that work better. Pros: Relatively cheap Primes the skin Gives light coverage Blends easy Cons: Doesn’t really do much to the appearance of the skin It’s more like a tinted moisturizer than a bb cream Speaking of bb creams that work better. L’Oreal Youth Code BB Cream Illuminator. Now I bought this because I was so confused at the store. I was thinking didn't I already get L’Oreal’s bb cream? I was a little surprised that they had two out. I paid around 13 dollars for this one. I just had to try it. I believe it comes in two shades light, and medium. I bought the medium, since I'm a little tanner these days. I immediately loved it. It reminds me of Garnier bb cream (which I love). The only difference is that it doesn’t leave me looking like a oily like Garnier’s does. (It has that oily sheen to it for about 10 minutes after you apply it). L’Oreal Youth Code bb cream looks flawless on my skin. It’s kind of a little peachy when it comes out. Smells a little like clay (like Garnier) but it is beautiful on the skin. It lasted me pretty much the whole day. Now the claims on the box state that it “evens, illuminates, perfects, moisturizes, and protects the skin. It said that in one week tone, and texture are improved and skin is healthier looking. Now I don’t know about all that but I like it. Pros: Covers well Hydrates Looks good on the skin Doesn’t leave skin oily Cons: Price is a little high for drugstore Smells like clay

Beautiful and Dewy

Wow what can I say! I just did a video on this but I felt that I needed to address this again. Chanel vitalumiere is already a dewy foundation but when you add Mac's Pink Rebel Lustre Drops it turns into this amazingly dewy foundation. It gave my skin this beautiful glow that everyone was commenting on. I had no idea it was going to have that effect when I tried it out. Yes Chanel is expensive and Mac is priced high too but if you already have these or one or the other it's worth trying this out. I must warn do not over do it with the pink rebel... you want to look overly sparkly. If you happen to try this let me know <3

Facial Masks / Crazy girls night

So the other night my friend calls me up and said "lets do something". We really didn't have anything fun to do and where we live there isn't really much going on. I decided to stop by Ulta and pick up a few facial masks and of course I could not forget the wine (moscato castello del poggio). It is the Moscato wine at Olive Garden. And it's honestly the best wine that I've ever had. I still like trying other wines. The night was fun. It was filled with prank calling ex boyfriends, current boyfriends and constant laughing. I'm sure the wine had nothing to do with it... I'm serious because we all only had one glass... we are just that crazy on our own Grape seed extract- It had a stronger scent and seemed to be a normal mask. Kristen tried this one out first. When you put it on your skin it feels like a sticky gel. When it starts drying you can feel the tightness in your face. You can also see all the wrinkles in your face. I feel like a baby would have wrinkles when this masks dries on their face haha. Once try after about 15 minutes she pulled the mask off. We looked for impurities on the mask but it was hard to tell because the way the mask kind of shrivels like dead skin once it is pulled off. The Cucumber peel off Mask- This is the first one I tried. It smelled of course like cucumber but the smell didn't linger. This one is similar to the mask above. It also dries after about 10 to 15 minutes. Once it was dry it felt super tight. Once the time was up I peeled the mask off my face. It actually felt kind of good although it did make my eyes water. Do not get this in your eyebrows it will pull them off haha. My skin felt smooth after using it and it didn't have that dry weird feeling. I think it was an over all good mask. Mint Julep Masque- Amber tried this one first. I also tried this one (not the same day). I think this one was my favorite. The smell of mint was relaxing. This mask also dried tight. You could actually see when this mask dry. Once the mask was rinsed off my skin felt clean and not overly dry. I applied moisturizer and I didn't have any breakouts Facial Clay Mask Strawberry and Chocolate- I was overly excited about this because of the smell. I was a little disappointed because the smell fades fast. But I guess I don't want it overly powerful because my skin probably wouldn't like it. Kristen had this mask on when she was in the picture with half cucumber and half strawberry and chocolate. This mask also felt tight and washed off fairly easy. Out of all the masks I have to say I liked the mint mask the best. Now since I embarrassed the girls enough I'll post pics so you can see how gorgeous they really are haha:

Covergirl Shimmering Sands review

Hey guys if you haven't checked out Shimmering Sands by covergirl you probably should. It's super affordable. The color pay off is decent. I think in order to get the most out of it you should apply some sort of base first. Even and NYX pencil in any of the lighter colors will work. I used it and it lasted all day. I really didn't think much of it when I first bought it until I learned how to use it to my advantage. I have a few more looks that I can't wait to do! Some that are more natural than the video I posted below. I hope you guys enjoyed watching the application.I need to try more drugstore makeup looks. And possibly some Avon... what do you guys think?

Nail Polish

I have been obsessed with Sally Hansen's Blue Blast nail polish since 2 summers ago when I bought it. Had I known that it wasn't going to be around for a while I would have bought more (Ugh don't you hate it when they do things like that?). I have been on the hunt looking for a dupe and this is about as close as I have gotten. It's Revlon's colorstay nail polish in Coastal Surf (cool name ;)). I really love this color. And it lasts a long time. I still don't have a chip and I've had it on for days. The color is nice and bright and beautiful... Just in time for summer. I really love the way it looks with blue and bright colored clothes. I feel like it goes with a lot of things (you'll be surprised at what it goes with). It even looks good with all white. I'm going to have to check out the rest of the colorstay nail polishes but so far I like them.

Shopping ... Ulta of course

While shopping at Ulta today I picked up a few products. I haven't used them yet but I've heard good things about them. The blue sponge is for men (I obviously didn't buy it for myself) but I seriously love the way it smells. It smells like man haha. The star shaped sponge is for the feet and another youtuber told me it was amazing. I can't wait to try it.Someone also recommended joico deep penetrating reconstructor. I got the trial version for under 5 dollars! I wanted to try it before buying the 28 dollar bottle. I'll do a post once I've tried the products to let you know what I think. If you've ever used any of these let me know!

Revlon remover for lash adhesive

So this stuff is amazing. I always hated wearing false lashes because the glue would get stuck on my eyelids for days. I would literally rip my eyelashes out to get the glue off. I asked several people ways to take the glue completely off and no one could give me one. I finally settled on baby oil ... which works fine but you really have to work with it to get the glue off and some eyelashes are sacrificed in the process. When I saw this product at the store I was like FINALLY but I also questioned if it really worked... and it does! Here is what I do to get the glue off. I remove all makeup from my face and eyes with wipes and eye makeup remover (glue will definitely be left on the lash line). Once that is done I apply Revlon remover for lash adhesive. I saturate my entire lash line, I even coat my lashes with it. I pick the big pieces off right away and then apply a little more. I then let it sit for about 5 minutes. Once the 5 minutes pass I then begin to gently rub the glue off. Most of it denigrates; you may have to pull some of the stubborn bits off. After that I wipe with a makeup wipe (just to get the remover off) and vola ... I'm done! So simple, So easy!!!

Panda Bear Beauty

So to achieve this look I used the following products. 05 too cool maybelline color tattoo (on my lid only), Avon perfect wear in the color pearl (as my highlight), Nyx white (in the inner corner of the eyes), The naked palette buck and naked eyeshadows (on the crease), Wet and Wild's black gel eyeliner (extreme wing on the lash line), NYX jumbo eyeshadow pencil in Milk (on the waterline), wet and wild's black (out of their palette pictured and black will do). I used my favorite mascara at the moment Jordana best lash extreme. I then put in my circle lenses that match my eye color. I also used false eyelashes. For my face all I used was garnier bb cream and under eye circle concealer with a little bit of pearl cream color base from mac as my highlighter. A tutorial is coming soon but this is a sneak peak! I got a lot of compliments on this look... which is called my panda bear look hehe. The look was inspired by my shirt which had the imprint of a panda bear on it. Yeah I know I'm a little weird haha.

A pretty purse

I'm not one for fashion. I used to love dressing up and looking cute but for some reason I stopped about 2 and a half years ago. I mainly started wearing yoga pants and t-shirts.I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. This summer I have on goal... to redo my closet and all the clothes in it. Okay on to this purse. So about a month ago... maybe more I saw this purse at Kohls and I really liked it (which is odd since my last purses have all been from higher end places). Well I didn't buy it right away but I loved the color and the way it looked. So after about a week I decided to get it. At the time it was around 50 dollars. Well now that I bought it I'm obsessed with it. I decided to look online to see if I could find another one and they were sold out of my favorite coral color :( I just wanted to have it for back up since I actually use the heck out of my purses. I honestly don't take care of them like I should. And I'm so extremely picky about my purses. In no way shape or form can a purse of mine have a logo all over the entire body of it. I don't think it's cute at all. I like more of a classic look when it comes to purses in the winter and then fun spring time colors for ... well spring and summer haha. So I'm a little sad. But at least I still have mine. It might have been a little ridiculous to purchase the same purse twice but that is how much I like it!
The One 'n Only Argan Oil Treatment is really nice and makes my hair feel really soft. I found that putting it on my hair while it is damp is the best way to use it. I don't like to put it in after it is dry because I find that it can cause static. The heat tamer is also great. I find that it doesn't really change the texture of my hair which I like because I want it to feel like it doesn't have a ton of product in it. I use this before blow drying and before curling my hair (if I don't forget haha). These are my go to combos when it comes to doing my hair. The great thing about them is that they are both fairly cheap!

How I straighten my hair

Ok this video was requested. It's pretty simole and I know a lot of you don't need this but I thought I'd give the people what they wanted and post it. I started doing this whole process in about 9th grade (possibly 8th). My hair was so frizzy and I didn't know what to do. Finally my mom bought me a flat iron and I soon became obsessed with it. I know that it can damage your hair but honestly when your hair already looks like it's damaged then it doesn't really matter.

Food for my tummy

Almost everyone I know wants to lose weight. Even the really skinny people in my life still feel the need to lose a couple pounds. Which I comletely understand. I mean if I weighed 100lbs my whole life and then gained 10lbs I'd probably want to be 100lbs still. Especially if I couldn't fit into my clothes anymore. I used to hate seeing perfectly shaped people out running or working out. The first thing that always came to my mind was "why are they doing that, they don't even need to". Well now I realize everyone needs to workout to be healthy... fat or skinny. So I no longer think like that. I'm like good for them! I don't think I'm fat by any means but I do think that I could be healthier. I weigh 136 on a good day (I recently lost 8lbs.) In high school I weighed 130. The smallest I've ever been was probably 105... maybe less than that when I was smaller I didn't weigh myself. That was in about 2003 and I stayed that weight for a couple years and then rounded off at about 113. 113 is my happy weight, I'm most comfortable there. So that is where I am headed. So to get there I've been working out 3 to 4 days a week. I started with two days a week and then worked my way up. Eventually I'd like it to be 5. I think I lost 8lbs in two weeks. I started working out at Survival Fitness. I'm not one to push myself so joining the gym was the way to go. Now on to eating. While at work it's gotten a lot easier for me to eat better. They pop fresh popcorn here like every hour so at first it was hard to resist. I probably had a bucket full of popcorn each day my first month of starting work. But now it doesn't even bother me to smell it. I eat every 2 to 3 hours depending on when I'm hungry. I make sure to have a good sized lunch (note the picutres above or below haha where ever they put them). I eat breakfast at home (cereal with silk milk of skim milk). Then around 10 I have cottage cheese or egg whites. At noon I have lunch... the picture above is what I'm having today. Sometimes it will be a turkey sandwhich with a side of pickels and some other random side. Then around 3 I have another snack: hard boiled eggs or tuna and chips... My co-workers love the smell haha (actually they can't smell it). When I get home, I eat whatever is made for me by the boy and he always cooks healthy. It's the weekends that kill me. I alway have lunch with my mom and go out to eat with friends. But honeslty I'm not on a diet so when I want to eat something I eat it. If I want Olive Garden... I'm going to eat Olive Garden. I've just been making small changes for now and it's been working. A few things I won't give up: Pickles and Coffee with creamer (not mixed together of course). So this is what I have been doing for the past 2 weeks. 8lbs in two weeks isn't bad but I haven't weighed myself because someone hid my scale :/

Peel off Mask

Omg this peel off Mask is awesome. I must say do not get this in your eyebrows. It will pull them off. If you do get it in your eyebrows wipe them with a wet towel haha. It almost hurts when you pull it off but it feels good. Like it is actually pulling the dead skin and black heads right out of your face. I loved it and it didn't irritate my skin. I'm going to buy more. I bought it at Ulta for like 2 dollars but Rite Aid sells a different kind that I'd also like to try

Garnier BB Cream Trial

So I just tried the Garnier BB cream and I have to say as of right now I love it. It gives a nice radiant glow to my skin and very minimal coverage. This is kind of what I was looking for. It's also on sale right now (buy one get one 50 percent off at Rite Aide). Let me know what you think.
