Hey ladies, so while I was cleaning my brushes lately I wanted to help remind you guys how to do is correctly and kind of on the money saving side too! It’s fairly simple to do and doesn’t require a lot of time or effort but it’s no where near as effective as deep cleaning. When it comes to cleaning there are brush cleaners out there but they seriously disgusting. THe basic ingrediant is seriously ALCOHOL! (no, ladies.. were not tipping wine glasses and washing our brushes) ;) But dont get me wrong, there are very good cleaneers out there like M.A.C cosmetics Brush Cleaner and BeautyPro Brush Cleaner! For cleaning your brushes I really suggest you do it after EVERY use., even if youre in a rush like me, try to do it before every use at least! Specifically for cream, liquid and gel products or if you are switching up colours! You only have to clean there at least once a week for like blushes, powders etc. Eyeshadow brushes should be cleaned after every use though! To do it, spray (i put this in a travel sized like spray bottle, like those hairspray ones) and i just spray it on the bristles, than wipe them back and forth until the color dissapears. remember that this is just a spot clean and not a super intense cleaning, dont expect this to substitute for your intense cleaning habits!
