Hump Day !! OOTD/MOTD

So today I went a little more out there on my makeup. I used my walking on eggshells by wet and wild for my eyes (tutorial soon). I used loreal gel eyeliner in black and in the waterline I used a nude color by Rimmel scandal eyes. And just loreal mascara. I didn't feel like doing my foundation today so I just left my face alone. For my outfit I have on brown dress pants (they kind of look black in the pic) They are actually crop pants for normal people haha . I have a bone colored ruffled shirt that I got at T.J maxx . Over that I have a sweater cardigan that I got at the goodwill (target brand). My shoes are snakeskin like flats that are gray and beige. They are not that comfortable ... Definitely need breaking in but they look cute ! That's pretty much it for today

Thanks <3 CeCe Marie <3

OOTD/MOTD

I'm starting a new thing where everyday I'm going to post an OOTD annd MOTD. So for today I'm wearing  khaki's and a khaki colored shirt with white stripes on it. Then over the shirt I'm wearing am eggshell colored sweater. I have black shoes on but I'd prefer a lighter color... I need to buy more work clothes. For makeup, I kept it simple. I used Bare minerals foundation, bronzer and powder for my face (that's it). Then for my eyes I have nothing on but black cat like eyeliner (L'Oreal gel eyeliner) and on my waterline I have Rimmel Scandaleyes in deep blue. Then of course Mascara (Million Lashes by L'Oreal). On my lips I have NYXl Lip gloss in LA-LA (it's just a pink). I kept it simple as I always do for work. I like to apply Bare Minerals with a soft brush. It feels really good on the skin. The only thing about wearing Bare Minerals is that I find it does not last very long. However when I'm work I like to feel like I'm wearing nothign annd that's Bare Minerals feels on the face. It also gives the most beautiful natural glow to the face! I seriously wish it lasted at least 8 hours because I would wear it out. I get the most compliments out of any foundation I've ever owed (and you guys know I've owned a ton) when wearing it. It's shame it doesn't last long. I have pretty good skin so when it wears off no one notices. I hope you guys have a great day !

L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes

I'm always on the hunt for new mascara's. It's very rare that I purchase the same one twice (in a row at least). I do love the Jordana Best Lash Extreme but my Walgreen's always runs out (I guess I shouldn't post things I love on my home fb haha). I've heard some reviews about the L'Oreal Million Lashes but I was convinced on getting it just yet. So when it was time to get a new one I didn't know where to begin, all I knew is I wanted something that I hadn't tried yet. So the packaging kind of sold me. It's gold and pretty and shiny. I really do like it a ... a lot! The first application (like always) wasn't the best. But the second time I tried it, I noticed a huge difference in my eyelashes. They honestly ALMOST look like fake lashes. Note that I said almost! I'm overall satisfied with the staying power. I didn't notice clumping or fallout on my face. It is overall a quality eyeshadow. As you can see in the photo my lashes look nice and full, and compared to the one with no lashes... what a difference!

What do you guys think? Let me know what your favorite mascara is!

Have a great day <3 CeCe Makeup Marie

Wet n Wild

I finally broke down and bought a few more Wet n Wild trio palettes. I only own two! Can you believe that? I've heard all this talk on YouTube about them but only owned a couple. The only reason why I got them was because they were 40% off. The truth is I have so much makeup that I really shouldn't be foolishly spending money (makeup addiction). I have the palette "sweet as candy" and I love it so much! It's a very beautiful pink and brown set. This time I bought "Walking on eggshells" it's kind of a beige pink lid color with a bronze crease color and an eggshell highlighter color. It's very beautiful and I will be doing a tutorial on it soon. The next trio that I got is "Don't Steal My Thunder" I've heard emilynoel83 talk about this one. It's pretty much all shimmer black, white and silver. It seems like it would create the perfect smokey eye. The final one that I purchased is "On Cloud Nine" this is the only trio (that I bought) that has a matte color in it. It has two shimmery blues and one matte brown. The quality of these shadows is that of Urban decay or any other high end brand that's on the market. I can't wait to film. Any suggestions on what trio you want to see first in a tutorial ?

E.L.F Lotion Wipes

I went shopping today at Target. I swear that place has some sort of magic because I go in there with one thing in mind and walk out with 30 things! I'm really disappointed with a few things that I bought. The main one is the new E.L.F Lotion Wipes. Has anyone else tried these? I bought the cucumber melon scented ones (they have a few different kinds). "To hydrate and moisturize the skin" is what is says on the packaging. It didn't do either. It moistened my skin but that was it. No hydration at all. I know these are only $3 but with E.L.F sometimes you get more than your moneys worth.

For example; I really enjoy their face wipes. Granted this is the first time I also purchased those. I always get the neutrogeona face wipes (the blue kind) and I like those a lot. The last purchase I made for wipes was the Olay brand fresh effects and oh man did those burn my eyes out! I'll never get those again. But the E.L.F face wipes did not burn my eyes and seemed to get all my makeup off with one wipe. I was impressed.

Another thing I purchased was Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeliner. I bought one in Nude and the other in Deep Blue. I was not truly impressed by these either. Well at least not the Deep blue one (I haven't tried the Nude one yet). It was not as pigmented as I thought it was going to be. Maybe it's a different formula than they use in the UK. Because I've heard so many people brag about them.

I repurchased the L'Oreal YouthCode BB cream. I really liked it but my tan has faded so I had to buy another one. This time I got the light color one. I like the Garnier one too but the L'Oreal one seems to leave my skin less oily.

Let me know if you've tried any of these products and what you thought about them. Remember this is just my opinion. We all have different skin types and different skin needs; so what works for you may not work for me and vice versa.

Have a great day everyone! Enjoy the new season.

Lorac behind the scenes eye primer

What can I say? I love this stuff! It's so much better than the urban decay ones that I've tried. I got this free with the purchase of the Lorac Pro Palette and I love it! It truly does make your eyeshadow last all day without creasing. It also allows for brighter colors to be seen. Has anyone else tried this ?

Clinique Age defense BB cream

Hey beauts0! C'Priana here!!  Recently I went to Macys and there was a promotion for a free 30-day sample of foundation. I filled out a card saying what I was recently using and the lady took that into consideration and chose a Clinique Age defense BB cream that also has a SPF 30 in it. Its $33 and totally worth it. I have fairly dry skin in the winter, so I was given this as a tutorial! So here we go..  PROS: coverage was nice and light and had a matte finish that looked really natural. Not very much was needed to cover my skin at all. I used maybe a nickel size drop to cover. I have dark circles under my eyes and it definitely took them away leaving me a little room for barely any cover up. CONS: the amount I was given to sample was not enough to last 30 days, the maximum amount of uses I got was around 22 days. The price is a little high for how big the tube is, although its Clinique.. so what do ya expect ;) after a while, I noticed the color kind of transformed in the tin to be a tanner color, I also noticed this kind of shed off onto my skin too. The day she put it on, the color matched perfectly, then the more I got into using it, the color got darker.. or I got even more pale..?! haha. Just keep a heads up for that. I do like this cream and although it is an age defense cream, I do recommend it to all ages. It is worth the money if you're someone who does not like to wear a full face of makeup everyday, especially for those days when you wake up and don't feel like getting ready! ALSO another thing, if you're not to sure on what foundation is right for you, visit a Macys and see what they recommend if theyre still offering this promotion! Any questions, please feel free to ask, and definitely give feedback, love to hear from you all! Have a great day!! <33

THE BEST HAIR REPAIR DUO EVER!

Hello every one! C'Priana here, hope you all had a great valentines day! Let me tell you about this miracle shampoo and conditioner! So lately I have been using L'oreal Paris Advanced Haircare New Triple Resist Reinforcing conditioner. What its supposed to do is nourish from root to tip, reinforce strands and resist breakage......THAT. IT. DOES. I bought the shampoo at Wal Mart for about $7-8 and I have been using it since the 11th.. I absolutely could not wait to give results at the end of the use. I really have nothing at all to say bad about this shampoo. My hair was damaged and dry when I bought it, IMMEDIATELY after I used this shampoo and conditioner I saw results. I have NEVER in all of the varieties of hair wash duos have I ever witnessed results right after the shower. I could literally feel my hair silkier and restored. As I used it more I could see less breakage and now (6 days later) I see little to zero split ends! Like I said, my hair was dried out alot more, so after I got it colored, it started to fall out too, and when I run my fingers through it now, nothing comes out, when I brush it, nothing comes out, when I pull hair bands out, nothing comes out! This shampoo is awesome! The smell is great and sticks to your hair, I can smell it from a wash the night before to the day after a gym workout! This is very funny, so as I'm typing this.. I went to grab the bottle to see what the smell was called and I turn it around and read the info and this is what it says, "Instantly  helps reinforce hair from root to core to tip leaving hair stronger and more resistant to hair fall due to breakage" -- is it just me or is that exactly what I just said in the beginning of the blog? Its so true! Back to the smell, it says ARGININE on the package, I'm not sure if that's the smell name or just a name for something else but the smell is very fresh smell with a flowery linger, if you have ever used any L'oreal shampoos it smells kind of like those.. The bottle is black with a red and white tip, it comes in a 25.4 FL OZ which is a pretty big bottle. I live with my there is 4 girls in this house with super long hair and with all of us, I would have to say the bottle is about 1/8 of the way gone! If you have any hair damage, split ends, etc I would without a doubt, recommend this shampoo duo to you! If you have any questions, feel free to ask them! Have a great day -C'Priana :)

‎12 tips on how to make your hair feel healthier, shinier and grow longer!
1. Air dry your hair instead of using a blow drier or "wet-dry straighteners" these do unbelievable damage to your hair, one blow dry your hair when it's necessary!
2. Give your go to hair do a rest, if your someone who loves to bump that hair up like snooker everyday.. Take a day and leave your hair natural, your hair will stay healthier longer and you will avoid damaging your hair which will cause for less haircuts!
3. If you have oily hair.. Don't look for those expensive hair treatments or wash your hair to its extreme, try a gentle hair shampoo everyday. If your hair oils up very fast, you don't want to wash every other day, try everyday. And vice versa for other non-oily hair!
4. MAINTAIN hair cuts every 3 weeks or other wise told by your salon! Bite the bullet and get it done if not, you will end up with 3 feet of dead hair that is unattractive! 2 inches off every couple of weeks won't hurt as much as 2 feet off at once!
5. If you want shinier hair, leave your conditioner in or buy leave in conditioners! I'm currently using a horse Mane conditioner that is working wonders into my hair!
6. Rinse your hair with cool water and not warm! Warm water loosens your hair and makes the product come off easier other then cold water which tenses your hair up to hold the product! Come on ladies, 20 seconds of cold water on your back won't hurt ya! Haha
7. Use silicone flat irons! Regular flat irons usually takes a couple of strokes to get your hair straightened! Which means that the heat is in your hair longer than it should be, with silicone flat irons, it should only take one stroke to straighten your hair! Leaving your hair with not only shine but less hair damage!
8. Eating nutritious foods can also help with shine, just like our body's our hair has a life of its own too. When we eat powdered donuts we don't really feel all too great after well same with hair, foods that go into your body are nourishing your hair as well!
9. Is it raining outside? Grab a bucket and collect that water! Rain water is the absolute best water to use on your hair! I try to wash my hair at least 5 times through the year with rain water because it not only brings amazing shine but also good health and length! Add a couple drops of olive oil to the water and it will work wonders, promise! Cheap, easy and it works!
10. Try to avoid using metal hair prices, bobby pins and hair pins are okay but big bulky metal Barrettes cause more damage than you know! They break hair right in the middle cutting off circulation for the rest of the strand of hair!
11. Be gentle with your hair! You would want to brush your hair wit a rake, right? Well that's how your hair feels when you use metal brisked hair brushes!
12. Use natural oils such as coconut oil and olive oil! They add shine and are natural so are very nourishing to the hair!

You won't be able to follow every step of this blog but pick out a few and try them and you will see a huge difference! Please write me back with any questions, or comments if your try these out! Like them or hate them I want to hear from you all! :) good luck! Xoxo -CeCe Marie! ♥

Hello beautiful ladies! I would be C'Priana, the girls CeCe mentioned in the last blog. I just want to swing on by and give you a little insight about me and what I am going to start doing. So as you know, the point of this idea is to experiment to give all of our lovely followers a variety of reviews, different age products and different styles of  blogging. Nothing much will really change as to the blogging for masks, beauty tips, and fashion ideas but what will change is the reviews on products that CeCe has been using. Her and I have different skin complexions, tones, sensativity levels and age, therefore I can provide her younger, teenage followers with ideas as to what types of makeup is better for your skin. As of right now, me and CeCe are actually using the same foundation (I like it too!!) which is the revlon color stay whipped! I absolutely love it, and my skin is so clear. Weirdly, my skin breaks out during the first week of using a different foundation and this foundation has not made me break out at all! I absolutely love it! I am not using a press powder as of right now, but within the month or so I will be switching from liquid foundation into powder so I will def have a review up soon! Cant wait to get to know you all! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me! Im very excited to work with you all :)

My New Beauty Ambassador

Hey Guys!

I have a Beauty Ambassador! Her name is C'Priana and some of you might remember her from a video that I did a while back "Event Makeup"
Here is the link for that:
http://youtu.be/oVMHKKL5FRk

C'Priana or CP as some people call her is a senior in high school. She is committed to makeup like me! She will be running blogs and some social media apps for me. She also is dating this guy:

Isn't he adorable? He just happens to be cousin ;) C'Priana will also be testing out products that are suitable for her skin type to help give a variety of reviews instead of it being dedicated to people who have skin like mine. So I'd like everyone to take this time to welcome her to my team... this is long overdue!

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation

Hey Guys,

I don't know what it is about me but lately I've been giving drugstore products a second chance. Years ago I used to get hives from many of the drugstore foundations. But I have to say, lately they have been stepping up their game. My skin leans on the the normal to dry side. In the winter it can be rather dry. In the summer it's just "normal".

A couple of weeks ago I was watching Wayne from Gossmakeup on YouTube and he mentioned that he loved the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation. Pretty much everyone jumped all over his back for mentioning that he liked a product that he tried. We all have different skin types. Certain products are going to react in different ways to different people.

I found myself in the past being like those people who jumped all over him. When one person said that they didn't like something I just didn't try it because I figured I would hate it too. My idea behind it was that I didn't want to waste my money. Which that was fine except I wasn't being open to new things. Just because some hates something doesn't mean that I have to hate to it too.

So I decided to give the infamous Maybelline Fit Me foundation a try and surprisingly I love it! Be warned it is really dewy. And I love the dewy look, especially for summer. I find that it lasted on my skin a good 7-9 hours (not as long wearing as Revlon ColorStay but it's not a matte foundation). It gave my skin a luminous glow that lasted a little while. Keep in mind that I rarely get acne or oily skin. I've been using it for about a month now and I've received compliments on my skin! It's a medium coverage so it does let my natural skin show through.

So here is what the company states about the foundation:

  • No oils, no waxes, no nonsense
  • Natural coverage that leaves skin the way it was meant to be…fresh, breathing, natural
  • Exclusive translucent base and lightweight pigments allow skin's natural highs and lows to show through
  • Non-comedogenic, dermatologist-tested

I do agree with what they've stated (which is rare).

If you are interested in knowing more about this foundation be sure to stay tuned to my YouTube channel because I will be uploading a video next week!

Chihuahua Shoes

You all will probably think I'm nuts but I couldn't help but order these. I fell in love with them immediately. I swear sometimes I like to act like 8 haha!  I got these of Etsy and they just arrived today. Shipping took a little longer than expected but I'm starting to think that is just how it works on Etsy. The shoes are a little expensive $24 plus tax. I think my total came out to $30 with shipping and all. The quality is not the best but they are just too cute ! I didn't mind paying more than I thought they'd be worth because in the long run when I look at them they make me happy. Weird I know but that's  just how I am. I like that when I look down at my feet I see a cute little chihuahua looking back at me. I know that I'll look down and just smile. TOO CUTE!

Glamorous Green

It’s amazing how far drugstore products have come! For this look I used sleeks makeup palette in Storm. I used about 5 colors from the palette, blues greens, brown and even some gold. I started off using barely beige color tattoo by Maybelline as a base. I then started mixing the blue on the bottom (second from the first) and the forest green next to it. I created a “V” shape only on my crease leaving the lid bare. After that I applied the highlight to my brow bone I used the second color on the top row. Then I mixed in the matte soft brown color in between the highlight and the blue green color. Blend, blend; and of course more blending!! Once I liked the way it looked I then mixed some of my Show Girls Secret by HardCandy with L.A. Colors spring fling. It’s a vibrant green loose eye shadow. You guys know I love my Show Girls Secret!!  For eyeliner I did a slight wing with L’Oreal infallible gel eyeliner in black. For the waterline I used NYX’s Jet Black eyeliner. Once that was done I couldn’t resist putting on some false eyelashes and a decent amount of mascara. For step by step video instructions stay tuned for my YouTube tutorial which will be up within the week!

Chi product review

So lately I've been testing out these chi products that I always saw in the salon but never wanted to buy because I just assumed they were expensive! I found them at Tj maxx for about 15 bucks a bottle and the ones I got were the silk infusion bottle and the infra shampoo bottle. Which are super huge! They're about 9 inches tall and 4 inches wide! I started with the silk infusion which makes your hair silky and also look healthier! I just put it in after I straighten or curl my hair but someone people have said they did it before their hair styling! All it is is an oil that makes your hair healthier and look better! It also smells very good! And it last FORRREVVERRR! Because all you need it like an M&M sized drop to work through your tips! Next is the infra shampoo, this smells exactly like the chi silk infusion but definitely works too! I do see why they use it in salons and I must say, the price fits the product! I always can find at least one negative thing to say but on these products I am very pleased with the results I was and currently are getting! I recommend this to all of the "on the go moms" or "straightening your hair 24/7 teens" who don't have time to keep up with their hair or damage their hair more frequently than others because its almost like it "holds you over" a couple of haircuts too! Try it out and let me know what ya think! XOXO CeCe Marie

Romantic Purples

Nail Polish Obsession

Hey Ladies!

So as of lately I've been obsessed with nail polish. I go through phases where one moment I love my nails the next moment I hate them! I've found a few colors that I love to pair together. I'll start with the lovely deep purple color. I take O.P.I's Lincoln Park At Midnight (2 coats) then Revlon's 761 Scandalous over top of it. It turns into this beautiful glowing color. Make sure to use a base coat and top coat for it. I also use a cuticle conditioner before hand (let it soak into your skin, it feels so good). And then after I'm all done polishing them I use quick dry drops (Drip Dry by OPI).

Okay now for the second one... gold nails! I love gold nails this time of year. I'm not one to follow trends so I'd rock these any time of the year. I follow the same steps with base coat, top coat etc. I apply Revlon's 925 gold coin (2 coats). Then I apply Revlon's Sequins over top of it. Followed of course by a top coat and then drip dry.

For base and top coat I use Seche Vite and for a conditioner I use the one by CND.
Oh I should have cleaned these up a little haha but you get the general idea hahahaha

I've received so many compliments on both these looks. The good thing is I found all of these (with the exception of Lincoln Park At Midnight) on sale! Woot woo !!!

Also as a side note (I can't get my nails to be perfect, I'm too impatient hah)
