Covergirl Shimmering Sands review

Hey guys if you haven't checked out Shimmering Sands by covergirl you probably should. It's super affordable. The color pay off is decent. I think in order to get the most out of it you should apply some sort of base first. Even and NYX pencil in any of the lighter colors will work. I used it and it lasted all day. I really didn't think much of it when I first bought it until I learned how to use it to my advantage. I have a few more looks that I can't wait to do! Some that are more natural than the video I posted below. I hope you guys enjoyed watching the application.I need to try more drugstore makeup looks. And possibly some Avon... what do you guys think?

Nail Polish

I have been obsessed with Sally Hansen's Blue Blast nail polish since 2 summers ago when I bought it. Had I known that it wasn't going to be around for a while I would have bought more (Ugh don't you hate it when they do things like that?). I have been on the hunt looking for a dupe and this is about as close as I have gotten. It's Revlon's colorstay nail polish in Coastal Surf (cool name ;)). I really love this color. And it lasts a long time. I still don't have a chip and I've had it on for days. The color is nice and bright and beautiful... Just in time for summer. I really love the way it looks with blue and bright colored clothes. I feel like it goes with a lot of things (you'll be surprised at what it goes with). It even looks good with all white. I'm going to have to check out the rest of the colorstay nail polishes but so far I like them.

Shopping ... Ulta of course

While shopping at Ulta today I picked up a few products. I haven't used them yet but I've heard good things about them. The blue sponge is for men (I obviously didn't buy it for myself) but I seriously love the way it smells. It smells like man haha. The star shaped sponge is for the feet and another youtuber told me it was amazing. I can't wait to try it.Someone also recommended joico deep penetrating reconstructor. I got the trial version for under 5 dollars! I wanted to try it before buying the 28 dollar bottle. I'll do a post once I've tried the products to let you know what I think. If you've ever used any of these let me know!

Revlon remover for lash adhesive

So this stuff is amazing. I always hated wearing false lashes because the glue would get stuck on my eyelids for days. I would literally rip my eyelashes out to get the glue off. I asked several people ways to take the glue completely off and no one could give me one. I finally settled on baby oil ... which works fine but you really have to work with it to get the glue off and some eyelashes are sacrificed in the process. When I saw this product at the store I was like FINALLY but I also questioned if it really worked... and it does! Here is what I do to get the glue off. I remove all makeup from my face and eyes with wipes and eye makeup remover (glue will definitely be left on the lash line). Once that is done I apply Revlon remover for lash adhesive. I saturate my entire lash line, I even coat my lashes with it. I pick the big pieces off right away and then apply a little more. I then let it sit for about 5 minutes. Once the 5 minutes pass I then begin to gently rub the glue off. Most of it denigrates; you may have to pull some of the stubborn bits off. After that I wipe with a makeup wipe (just to get the remover off) and vola ... I'm done! So simple, So easy!!!

Panda Bear Beauty

So to achieve this look I used the following products. 05 too cool maybelline color tattoo (on my lid only), Avon perfect wear in the color pearl (as my highlight), Nyx white (in the inner corner of the eyes), The naked palette buck and naked eyeshadows (on the crease), Wet and Wild's black gel eyeliner (extreme wing on the lash line), NYX jumbo eyeshadow pencil in Milk (on the waterline), wet and wild's black (out of their palette pictured and black will do). I used my favorite mascara at the moment Jordana best lash extreme. I then put in my circle lenses that match my eye color. I also used false eyelashes. For my face all I used was garnier bb cream and under eye circle concealer with a little bit of pearl cream color base from mac as my highlighter. A tutorial is coming soon but this is a sneak peak! I got a lot of compliments on this look... which is called my panda bear look hehe. The look was inspired by my shirt which had the imprint of a panda bear on it. Yeah I know I'm a little weird haha.

A pretty purse

I'm not one for fashion. I used to love dressing up and looking cute but for some reason I stopped about 2 and a half years ago. I mainly started wearing yoga pants and t-shirts.I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. This summer I have on goal... to redo my closet and all the clothes in it. Okay on to this purse. So about a month ago... maybe more I saw this purse at Kohls and I really liked it (which is odd since my last purses have all been from higher end places). Well I didn't buy it right away but I loved the color and the way it looked. So after about a week I decided to get it. At the time it was around 50 dollars. Well now that I bought it I'm obsessed with it. I decided to look online to see if I could find another one and they were sold out of my favorite coral color :( I just wanted to have it for back up since I actually use the heck out of my purses. I honestly don't take care of them like I should. And I'm so extremely picky about my purses. In no way shape or form can a purse of mine have a logo all over the entire body of it. I don't think it's cute at all. I like more of a classic look when it comes to purses in the winter and then fun spring time colors for ... well spring and summer haha. So I'm a little sad. But at least I still have mine. It might have been a little ridiculous to purchase the same purse twice but that is how much I like it!
The One 'n Only Argan Oil Treatment is really nice and makes my hair feel really soft. I found that putting it on my hair while it is damp is the best way to use it. I don't like to put it in after it is dry because I find that it can cause static. The heat tamer is also great. I find that it doesn't really change the texture of my hair which I like because I want it to feel like it doesn't have a ton of product in it. I use this before blow drying and before curling my hair (if I don't forget haha). These are my go to combos when it comes to doing my hair. The great thing about them is that they are both fairly cheap!

How I straighten my hair

Ok this video was requested. It's pretty simole and I know a lot of you don't need this but I thought I'd give the people what they wanted and post it. I started doing this whole process in about 9th grade (possibly 8th). My hair was so frizzy and I didn't know what to do. Finally my mom bought me a flat iron and I soon became obsessed with it. I know that it can damage your hair but honestly when your hair already looks like it's damaged then it doesn't really matter.
